The GEL-NIMBUS 23 Knit running shoe continues to offer excellent comfort and long-run impact absorption. Its improved stability provides a more balanced stride that's followed by smoother transitions. Constructed with comfort and breathability in mind, the upper features a soft knit design for long runs. Engineered eyelet shaping helps the upper move more naturally with the foot, while a stretchy midfoot panel appropriately hugs the foot to generate better flexibility. Additionally, the shoe's upper is made with recycled materials to reduce waste and carbon emissions. Providing the runner with excellent shock absorption and softness, the GEL-NIMBUS 23 Knit delivers more compression in the heel thanks to its softer GEL technology cushioning unit and contoured design lines. Also, a gender-specific TRUSSTIC device provides an articulated amount of support in the right direction for men and women to help generate a smooth transition. Under the toe, the inclusion of gender-specific pillars help cushion the body and help runners experience a softer feel. Simultaneously, the OrthoLite X-55 sockliner equips runners with a forgiving, yet responsive stride. I bought two pairs in different colors. I will rotate shoes for each daily run. I am using these for training for a half marathon this November.The shoes are really good looking and made well-except for one thing. The picture in online did not show that these shoes have no tongue. There is an elastic fill in instead of the tongue. It was very tight on the pair I ordered. The shoe fit fine...but the elastic cut off the circulation sound my ankle. Not a good design.I had ordered this shoe for my wife (she loves the ASICS Gel-Nimbus) but I did NOT follow the advice of the Amazon page where I ordered it. On that page, it literally stated that I should order a "wide" (because in the past, that was what we had ordered for her) and I ended up ordering her correct shoe size but not in wide.So, we had to return the shoes, but we're now looking to find a pair of these same shoes in a "wide" because she definitely wants to order them.Again, this was all my fault for not following the words that were on the Amazon page, but my wife does love these shoes, so we are going to try and order it correctly this time. :-)I like the fly knit and these have always been great for putting miles In but the back of the heels cause MAJOR blisters.Love these!!! I work as a surgical Technologist 8-12 hours a day and these work greatCan’t say enough about this shoe except that I bought two pair! This shoe is like walking on air; so comfortable and light weight. The shoes fit like a glove and put a spring in my step. Love these shoes!I always get the ASICS Nimbus’s… I tried these ones because I thought they would be different and fun to have. They look cool but after my first run in them on the treadmill only going 2 miles I got blisters. I ended up cutting off the sock part because I was that desperate to use them and not have to buy another pair of shoes. Then they started feeling like a the ones I normally get.I loved the color and the look of the shoe. I did not like the elastic tongue which was very snug on my foot. I returned the shoes.
