I do 5 to 10 miles a day and I can't stand having things in my hands, so I ordered these shorts because of all of the pockets. My phone is rather large and in a case and it still fits snuggly in one of the side pockets. There is also a pocket on the other leg and one in the waistband, so there's plenty of room for everything I need. The length on these shorts are perfect if you're a person who has to worry about the dreaded chub rub. There's no chafing going on in these shorts and they fit comfortably but are fitted enough that they don't ride up in the crotch. They are also high-waisted, so they hold everything in place and they don't fall down due to the weight of your phone when you're running. I have very large legs and they fit me great. I normally wear a size 12 so I bought these in a large. I've only had these shorts for a little over a month, but so far there has been no pilling of the fabric between the legs from friction. I do not wash these with fabric softener since they're moisture wicking, but they seem to get softer with each wash. Highly recommended!
