EXTREMELY BREATHABLE The upper mesh wraps the foot like a second skin while reinforcements in key areas, such as arch provide support. Pull tabs on the tongue and heel work with the optional stretchy laces for a fast, easy-on no-tie option. EXCELLENT TRACTION SUPER AHAR rubber under the heel gives the shoe added durability. ENERGIZED CUSHIONING Our FLYTEFOAM technology midsole material is lighter and more durable than traditional midsole foams. It provides soft, supportive feel from footstrike to toe-off. SURFACE Road HEEL DROP 8 mm WEIGHT 204 g/7.2 oz SUPPORT Neutral CUSHION Extra UNDERPRONATION IS How Your Foot Contacts The Ground: The outside of the heel hits the ground at an increased angle with minimal pronation, causing shock to the lower leg. Push-Off: You experience pressure on your outer toes. Considered Injuries: Plantar fasciitis, shin splints, ankle strain. Foot Type: High arches. NEUTRAL FOOT TYPE IS How Your Foot Contacts The Ground: Your foot lands on the outside of the heel and then rolls inward, absorbing impact on the body. Push-Off: Your experience even distribution from the front of the foot. Considered Injuries: Getting hurt is less likely due to effective shock absorption, but not impossible. Foot Type: Normal-size arches. OVERPRONATION IS How Your Foot Contacts The Ground: Your foot lands on the outside of the heel and then rolls inward, transferring excess weight. Push-Off: Your experience pressure mainly on your big toe and second toe. Considered Injuries: Shin splints, plantar fasciitis, bunions, heel spurs. Foot Type: Low arches or flat feet.
I really like this shoe! These replaced an older pair of tri noosa’s I had because I had the others for years and liked them a lot. I like the new style tongue that you can easily pull and adjust. I like the new no tie shoelaces and I ended up keeping them and not swapping out with the traditional laces also included. It took a bit of adjusting to get used to the new style laces but I like the ease. Got these because I had my first 5k so I started breaking these in a month and a half before it. My feet had no complaints. They breath well and cushion great. I wore my old pair so long I didn’t realize how non cushioned they had become until I put these on. Hoping the quality is the same and I can wear these for several years too! I’m mostly a walker Vs a runner but I do run sometimes. These I prefer over my UA brand running shoe that I keep strictly for use on my treadmill. These are lighter and keep my feet cooler than those.
