I ordered a size up. Glad I did. Love the style, and they are comfy.Returned item cause “lining” material was too thick but they seem like ok shorts.I had to return these shorts because the sizing was off. There's a chance the hip measurement was right, but the waist was too small to go over my hips. The material was nice and seemed strong. I was hopeful that they would be a good fit, alas they were not.I was in between the L & XL measurements and decided to go with the XL, which I am glad that I did. The fit is very comfortable. I do agree with the other comments, I am not a fan of built in underwear. I love the length of the shorts with is perfect.I am at an age/weight where I do not want super short athletic shorts. These are the perfect length. I am 5'3" and they hit between mid thigh and the top of my knee. They are super soft and they zipper pocket on the waist and the inside waistband slit pocket are great, but the fact that they have regular pockets makes it even better.I love these shorts. They even have built in underwear! They are so comfortable that I have purchased 3 more! They wick moisture well. I would love to see more colors. These could be my every day shorts. I've worn them working out, cutting the grass, every day lounging around and with a nice top I wore them to an evening cookout. Caution: pricing on these change frequently.Very comfortable. Glad I found these.Comfortable longer length shirts!
