I ordered these because Runner's World had them on a list as one of the best low-priced running shoes. I've been running more frequently lately and just needed a pair so that I wasn't wearing the same pair every time I ran. I just can't spend $130 on running shoes and have found Asics to be good at a mid to low price point.I do like these. I usually order Asics anyway because I like a snug fit everywhere except the toe box and they usually work well. I had been striking out lately with Asics though but hadn't seen these in stores or on Zappos so I gave them a try. Runner's World stated that these don't have a ton of stability, so if you need that, these might not be for you.My first order was defective; the left shoe's overlay where the laces go in was off by quite a bit. I received another pair and they're fine. They're very lightweight and breathe well.The only issue I have is that my heels are slipping a bit in these, but I'm going to get different socks in case they're causing the problem.Overall, a good low-priced running shoe!
