Ready to dip your toe…er…foot into the Minimus movement? The Minimus 1010 Road is for runners who are curious but cautious. With slightly more cushioning and underfoot structure than our other Minimus shoes, this is a great starter.

NB Minimus is a whole new approach to footwear, a place on the spectrum from barefoot running to the traditional maximum-cushioning running shoe. Inspired by Good Form Running and designed to be worn with or without socks. With only a 4 mm drop

I think I'm not a huge fan of the Minimus style. It's cut a bit narrow and squishes my toes, and I don't feel like I had as much arch support with these as I did with all of the other trail sneakers I have bought. Also, to echo the other reviewer who said they made her feet point oddly like she was pigeon toed, they took some getting used to because of the odd angle on the inside. It's not an issue with narrow sneakers. I love Pumas for fashion sneakers in part because they are so narrow. It was just very unexpected from New Balance.I'm a service industry manager and have to be on my feet for 45+ hours a week; as you can imagine, it's been a cramped and uncomfortable couple of months. :( I kept them thinking they just needed to break in, but I was wrong.
