Amazing in comfortI really wanted to love these trail shoes. The tread is very rugged and grippy. I have a normal width (B) foot and in other Salomon shoes have not had issue. However, this model does seem to run narrow, especially in the toe bed. I could not wear them after 10 miles.Update: 2/17/22I still really like these shoes, but recently had me feet measured for a new pair of work shoes (I'm a nurse). Ends up I need more room in the toebox. After wearing a pair of Brooks that are the correct size, I find these shoes are too tight in the toebox. When I put the insoles that I need for arch support in them, it makes the problem worse. The reason I took I star off though is because the tread is wearing what seems to me to be really fast. See picture. The left is worse than the right. These have roughly 150 miles on them. My Garmin seems to think 400 miles is when you should retire shoes. If that is correct, these will not make it that long. When I did research on other brands, I was finding some in the same price range that people were getting 600 miles out of. I plan to re-home these and buy a pair that are the correct size.I love these shoes. They are super comfy, look really cute and grip the ground like nobody's business. I had been using them on paved routes, so I knew they were good there, but recently had the opportunity to use them on a trail that was mixed terrain. They handled great! There were rocky parts, slightly muddy areas, tree roots, and a steep downhill grade that was rocks. I didn't slip or turn my ankle once. I have a chronic back injury and I worry about falling and causing a flare up. I have enough confidence in these shoes that I feel that as long as I use my normal amount of caution, these shoes have my back. I also really like the quick laces, I didn't know if I would, but they are great. Just look at the paper explaining how to route them to "tie" them. Super easy.I hate ordering shoes without trying them on. I usually wear a 6.5 or 7. Amazon recommended a 6.5 and seeing as how I didn't know which size I needed, I went with it. The fit perfect.I have big flat feet. Ordered a size 9.5 wide, but it's unfortunately just a little snug. Took it out walking regardless and I survived... So hopefully it will stretch out some. It's good material and perfect for gravel!!Shoe fits tighter than other Salomon trail running or hiking shoes of same size. Toe box is too shallow, so I took out innersole which helped. Not having mesh over toes keeps feet cleaner in sandy or dusted environment.I love these shoes. They are the best shoes, I've purchased in a long time. No more heel pain with the Plantar Fasciatis. The only thing is that I had to add an arch support. Overall they are Great..!!The shoes are a perfect fit and great if you have narrow feet. I wear US size 7, that’s what I bought and I do not have regrets.Best shoes I've ever owned. I own about nine colors!!!!Not happy with the advertising ;(I love Salomon running Shoes! Purchased these as they were waterproof! Fit was superb went running across the local park , with wet grass . Within seconds had soaking shoes and feet! Not good at all! Certain sky not waterproof!!!Bitterly disappointment that I had to return them . They are great shoes & were so comfortable , just can’t run in them if I get soaked through to my feet so easily!Great trainers. Love SalomonStunning trainersLove these shoes this is the 4th pair I've had brilliant for hiking running etc light weight with support so comfortableI wanted to love this shoe so bad! All the reviews online and runner's blogs recommend this shoe for women's trail running. Unfortunately they were too narrow for my foot. I hadn't considered my feet to be wide, up until this point in life I've always bought regular shoes, of any type or brand (Nike, Asics etc.) but this Saloman shoe was too narrow. (FYI, I'm 5'7, 30 years old, no kids. No reason to suddenly have a wider foot). I returned it and am currently waiting for the 'wide' version to deliver.
