New Balance Women's 520 V5 Running Shoes - Lightweight Comfortable Athletic Sneakers for Jogging, Gym Workouts & Everyday Wear

I have a pair of these shoes which have served well for morning fast walking, but bought a pair of a newer version that just didn’t feel as good. I went about finding the 520v5, knowing that these fit well, and was happy to find these as backups for when the others are dirty or too worn to carry on. As a side note, the light grey of the old pair was looking pretty nasty, so I wanted to chance washing it in the washer. I sprayed them with Oxyclean Maxforce stain remover, and after letting them sit and brushing them a bit, put them in the washer in a laundry mesh bag on a gentle setting. They came out much cleaner, enough so that I won’t be embarrassed wearing these “out”. So the new pair sit for now, ready for when I need them. Each person’s foot fits differently, I take a 5 or 5.5 in a normal shoe, but a 6 in a sneaker, and this fits well.This is my favorite shoe. I have a hard time finding shoes with good arch support and this fits the best. I do add an additional insert for extra support. On my 3rd pair.Have had to return many athletic shoes because of the comfort factor but will not return these. Have found my go to shoes. Will order again.I bought these along with another pair of Addidas sneakers for working out and running. I always buy another option because online shopping for sneakers can be tricky. I have slender ankles, feet and heels but need a cushioned sole. (The Addidas turned out to be too bulky, so I'm glad I got these!) They fit perfectly. Not too tight, not too bulky. If I want more toe room or want to wear thick socks, I'll have to go up a size, but I don't wear thick socks with sneakers anyway. The color is more grey than white (like the photo looked when I bought them) but I like the contrast of grey. The pink bottom is truly an ultra or brighter pink, which I love. The tongue is not too bulky, and for now, I don't feel abrasion on my heel from rubbing (which is what usually happens with any shoe. My heels are that slender). I may update this once I get at least a month's worth of workouts but for now, this is a keeper. If they're still good after that, I'm ordering in more colors. I sometimes don't like writing reviews for shoes because to be honest, a shoe is about the fit and everybody's feet are different but I thought this might be helpful for someone with slender feet looking for new sneakers.I’ve owned these sneakers for over a year now and they have held up really well. I’ve put them in the washing machine a few times and let them air dry. It worked out well, no issues. They are a nice basic walking sneaker for me. I use them everyday to walk my dog. They are low profile, light weight and not bulky. The padding inside is just enough, without being too much. I would definitely consider them to be a “no frills” basic running shoe. They were a good price. They are true to size I ordered my normal size 8 I always wear in sneakers. I’ll probably reorder them again in grey soon because they have been good sneakers and are a good price.I have another pair of New Balance just like these only in a different color. I wanted black for winter so I ordered these and just like my other New Balance, these are the most comfortable I have ever worn. However, I did not pay attention to the comment on the ad about a true fit so order your regular size and ordered 1/2 size larger, 8.5. They fit perfectly. Unless you always wear a true size, in my case an 8, do not hesitate to increase by 1/2 size. In my experience, just about all athletic shoes need to be bumped up 1/2 size to fit correctly. Otherwise, I highly recommend these shoes!For the last few years, since having an issue with my ankle (bursitis/arthritis) I've been a New Balance cheerleader. This pair is one of the least expensive of my purchases so I was a little skeptical. But I love them! They are very lightweight. There is enough arch for me and I have pretty high arches. They look nice with capris and jeans. And the turquoise is a nice little touch of color. It's great to have a white pair that breathe and are not "leather" and look older than my age (57) So far the mesh is just fine. I am not too hard on my shoes except for the ones relegated to yard work (yes, my oldest New Balance as others just end up making my ankle ache at the end of the day).Note: On size; I normally wear an 8 or sometimes a 7.5 in a shoe and am not normally a wide. BUT!! With New Balance I wear an 8.5 Wide. I now have 4 in this size and all are perfect for me. So if you've never worn them before, go up in size by a half and possibly go wide. They are never too wide in the heel or arch area but just give me plenty of comfortable space in the toe box.Loves this brand/style! I work at very busy animal Hospital and I am on my feet all day. My feet aren't tired at the end of the day and they hold up pretty good to the wear and tear of the job.Bought these to replace some nike city trainers and I am so glad I did. Not only do I LOVE the colour but they are so comfortable. The support is brilliant and the cushioning it absolutely the right balance between impact protection and weight distribution. I will hopefully buy in other colours at another time. They do mark easily but I guess thats the colour I got and keeping them clean for as long as I can will be a missionI really don't like that prices here vary so much depending on the demand for colours and sizes.These trainers are really lovely, but was very disappointed to discover they are not actually black, but a dark grey, almost slate grey. They would be perfect if I was looking for dark grey trainers, but it's black trainers I need. The colour description is very misleading. I have attached a photo showing the difference between my black leggings and these New Balance "Black" trainers. As I said, they are lovely, but incorrect colour description. Unfortunately, I have to return them. Will have to browse again for genuine black trainers. Very disappointed! Postage was very fast to Ireland, so pleased with that aspect of the delivery. Thank you.Love my new trainers . Look great. More grey than black. Comfy to walk about. Not tried at the gym yet but they seem like they will be fine .Size was a 7 but 40.5 so more like 6.5.Fine for me as my foot is wider than long but if an average 7 they may run a tad small.After recieving these trainers this morning (5 days before the estimated delivery date!) I put them on and set of for a walk to walk them in. I ended up walking 10k in them due to them being so unbelievably comfy and light, they really are the best trainers I've ever bought, brilliant value, recommend to everyone. Also recommend this seller, as mentioned, I received these well before they were due to arrive so very happy ! Thank youI really like the colour and the inner sole is very comfortable I’ve been suffering with plantar fasciitis and thrown away all my older trainers and these have been great! A little tight at first but within one or two wears they have been fine. I also went up to size 5.5 I’m normally a 5!
